Okay y’all. I have a confession to make…

I love lasagna.

Oh, Lasagna, I love you…

I love lasagna so much Garfield was my favourite cartoon as a kid because he was just like me. Stubborn, cranky, and he loved lasagna. Now, I’m not the biggest fan of the traditional lasagna you get here in Australia, which not only is the usual level of laborious to make, but it’s also got the added layer of Béchamel sauce which means more prep time.

I’m not a huge fan of Béchamel, taste-wise, but that’s another issue altogether.

So the other day when I stumbled across a recipe for Lasagna in ONE pan, I jumped (figuratively) for joy.

I was even more excited when I saw the prep time. TEN MINUTES. Cook time? TWENTY MINUTES. So, my favourite food in a half an hour? Brilliant!

As we had a bit going on the other night, I decided to grab some ingredients for this deliciousness and try it out. Alas, I ran out of spoons. Thankfully my friend Jools (who is very eager to help me create some great spoonie recipes, by the way) was over, and she was happy to prep and chuck everything into a saucepan.

The night was saved!

We made some changes to the recipe to suit us and I’m eager to try it again – next time with my own spoons –  so I can share it with you guys here. Keep an eye out!

    I love lasagne. I’ve never made it with bechamel, other than when I’ve had to while working in restaurants, my mum always used grated mozzarella in between the layers. I still do.
    It’s funny you should mention lasagne, because every time Kiddlywink has her friend Miss Banana over, I have to make lasagne. She adores my lasagne.
    I’m intrigued to what the quicky version is like though, for nights with minimal spoons. 🙂

    Do you know, I’ve just now realized who you are? Oh my word! Brain fog, for the win! The quicky version is so so good. I’ve figured out how to make it even simpler! Next time you’re over maybe I can arrange to have some on hand 🙂
